About Us
Electric Motor Service Limited (EMSL) has been selling and servicing industrial electric motors and generators in Western Canada since 1945. In addition, EMSL is an industry leader in the sale, service, and remanufacturing of industrial and residential water and wastewater pumps.
EMSL’s locations include a full sales and service facility in Edmonton, a full sales and service facility in Fort McMurray, a sales & warehouse facility in Edmonton (focusing on pumps) and a sales & warehouse facility in Calgary. EMSL also owns a fleet of transport vehicles for shipping our products between facilities and to our customers. This means no outside shipping companies, and in turn, better prices and timely service.

EMSL recently completed an up-tower bearing change for a major Alberta wind farm owner. EMSL was contracted to replace the bearings on a large (MW rated) generator in an OEM wind turbine.
